We just started the harvest today with a great weather, after the rain of last week. We had summer temperatures during May and June which made the vines growing in very good conditions and at that time, we were thinking the harvest to start very early (around the 15th of August). Fortunately, the weather changed during July and the first 2 weeks of August being quite cold for the season and more rainy and cloudy than usual. These 6 weeks slowed the activity of the vines and delayed the harvest because we waited for the best maturity.
We should finish the harvest in about 2 weeks and we will have a better idea about the quality of the vintage in the next few weeks.
